Enduro Bearings PF30 - Torqtite BB - 440C Stainless Steel
Enduro Bearings PF30 - Torqtite BB - 440C Stainless Steel
TorqTite, stainless steel, Angular Contact, Bearing Bottom Bracket for PF30 Framesets.
An original Enduro innovation, TorqTite bottom brackets utilize precisely machined aluminum cups that thread together through your press fit BB shell for a simple, secure installation. All Enduro TorqTIte bottom brackets are manufactured to the highest standards, ensuring parallel alignment and quiet, creak-free, low-friction pedaling.
This complete bottom bracket features 440C stainless steel angular contact bearings to provide long life and superior corrosion resistance, even in hostile environments. That includes resistance to salt water from roads, spilled sports drinks, and pressure washing after a muddy ride. Enduro uses LLB dual lip groove seals with a high-pressure grease in these bearings to additionally waterproof against the elements. Enduro is so confident in the quality and performance of these bearings, it provides a two-year anti-corrosion warranty.
Depending on the Torqtite Spline design and what you have in your shop, you may need one of Enduro's Pro Tools for installation.
Since these bearings are 15º Angular Contact design, they require a light preload to guarantee the best adjustment Some cranksets have pre-load systems already built in, but if yours doesn't, or if it is made of plastic, Enduro would recommend its machined aluminum pre-load adjuster shown below for DUB and 30 mm cranksets.
